AFCD Policies

The Association of Florida Community Developers (AFCD) is an organization made up of the  major community developers in Florida.

The Mission of AFCD is to provide a leadership role in the creation of quality community development and the formulation of a responsible approach to the planning and development of Florida's future.

Members of AFCD want the State to provide an effective and efficient planning and policy framework which will encourage and support economic development while retaining Florida's many natural assets for generations to come.

AFCD is committed to working with Florida's government leaders to meet the challenges of growth and seize opportunities for economic development to put Florida foremost in the United States. Our investments in Florida are substantial, and our views are long term. There is an important parallel between our business and the greater needs of the State.
